III. Managing Your CryptoMail Email Account

You access our organization tools from the Client Menu and the Management Toolbar in the "CryptoMail Client Window". In addition, the Email organization tools are available in other pop up windows.

The organization tools allow you to create new folders, rename folders, delete folders, move Email messages, copy Email messages, delete Email messages and empty the trash folder.


Creating a New Folder

You can create a new folder from the "Save To Folder", the "Move To Folder" and the "Copy To Folder" windows, and when you save, move or copy an Email message in your Email account. You also can create a new folder from the "CryptoMail Client Window".

  1. Select a base location of your new folder from the Folder Browser area in the "CryptoMail Client Window".
  2. Click on the "New Folder" icon New Folder or the "New..." button in the "CryptoMail Client Window" to create a new folder.
  3. Press "OK" to create the new folder.

Moving Messages To a Folder

You are able to move your Email message from a Message Viewer window, when you are reading an Email message in your Email account. The "CryptoMail Client Window" also provides the function for you to move your Email messages.

  1. Select an Email message from the Email Message Browser area in the "CryptoMail Client Window". Extended selection is allowed with the Control or Shift modifiers.
  2. Click on the "Move Message" icon Move Message in the "CryptoMail Client Window" to move the Email message into another folders.
  3. Select a folder in the "Move To Folder" window.
  4. (Optional) Press "New Folder" to create the new folder with the "New Folder" dialog box.
  5. Select the folder where you want to put your Email message.
  6. Press "OK" to finish.

Copying Messages To a Folder

You are able to copy your Email message from a Message Viewer window, when you are reading an Email message in your Email account. The "CryptoMail Client Window" also provides the function for you to copy your Email messages.

  1. Select an Email message from the Email Message Browser area in the "CryptoMail Client Window".
  2. Click on the "Copy Message" icon Copy Message in the "CryptoMail Client Window" to duplicate an Email message into another folder.
  3. (Optional) Press "New Folder" in the "Copy To Folder" window to create a new folder using the "New Folder" dialog box.
  4. Press "OK" to finish.

Renaming a Folder

You can rename any folders that you have create, but you cannot read the default folders (inbox, trash, drafts or sent-items) inside your mail box.

  1. Select a folder from the Files Browser area in the "CryptoMail Client Window".
  2. Click on the "Rename Folder" icon Rename Folder or the "Rename..." button in the "CryptoMail Client Window" to rename a folder to any name.
  3. Enter a new name of the folder in the "Rename Folder" dialog box.
  4. Press "OK" to finish.

Deleting a Message

When you delete an Email message, you have an option to put the deleted Email message into a recycle bin.

  1. Select an Email message(s) from the Email Message Browser area in the "CryptoMail Client Window".
  2. Click on the "Delete Message" icon Delete Message in the "CryptoMail Client Window" to delete the Email message.
  3. Press the "Permanently" button in the "Deleting Selection" to remove the Email message from your Email account. Or press the "Trash" button to move the Email message into the trash folder of your Email account.

Deleting a Folder

You delete a folder in your mail box in your Email account with the Files Browser area in the "CryptoMail Client Window".

  1. Select a folder from the Files Browser area in the "CryptoMail Client Window".
  2. Click on the "Delete Folder" icon Delete Folder in the "CryptoMail Client Window" to delete the folder.
  3. Press the "Permanently" button in the "Deleting Folder" dialog box to permanently remove (cannot undo) the folder from your Email account.

Emptying the Trash Folder

You empty the Email messages in the trash folder to save disk space in your Email account.

  1. Click on the "Empty Trash" icon Empty Trash in the "CryptoMail Client Window".
  2. Press the "Permanently" button in the "Emptying Trash" dialog box to proceed or delete individual entries in your trash folder.
